Free online XML tools

Small tools for the XML you handle every day, from API responses to feeds and sitemaps. Each one runs entirely in your browser: your files are never uploaded and you need no account.

XML Formatter

Format, beautify or minify XML. Clear error messages with the exact line.

XML Validator

Check that XML is well-formed. The first error comes with its line, its column and a suggested fix.

Sitemap Checker

Check an XML sitemap for errors: URLs, dates, duplicates and limits, each with its line. Sort and export the URLs.

XML to JSON Converter

Convert XML to JSON and choose how attributes and repeated elements are written.

XSLT Tester

Test an XSLT 1.0 stylesheet on your XML and see the rendered result and its source.

XPath Tester

Test an XPath expression on your XML and see every matching node, with its path and line.

Kobunsho Viewer

Open the official documents (kobunsho) sent by e-Gov and the Japan Pension Service straight from their ZIP, then print them or save them as PDF.

Italian E-Invoice Viewer

Open an Italian e-invoice, XML or signed P7M, and read it as a clean invoice. Print it or save it as PDF; attached PDF files open too.

Why are these tools free?

They are made by the team behind XMLNest, a free Chrome extension for reading XML, available on the Chrome Web Store. They cost nothing, need no account and have no daily limit. Your XML stays in your browser, is never sent to xmlnest.com or to anyone else and is gone when you close the tab.
